Enroll in coverage within 31 days of your hire date without providing proof of good health, also known as evidence of insurability (EOI).
After this 31-day period, EOI approval is required. To apply, log in to your online ERS account during Annual Enrollment or when you have a qualifying life event (QLE) and follow the EOI instructions. Learn about Disability EOI (145k).
